|Ingredients||6 medium sized potatos
1 tbsp ground turmeric
4 tbsp vegetable oil
2 dried red chillies
6-8 curry leaves
2 onions diced
1 tsb cumin
1 tsb mustard seeds
1 tsb fennel
lemon juice, to taste
|Instructions||1.peel potatos and wash them under water.
2.chop potatos into bite sized peaces
3.boil them with salt and the turmeric until soft then drain.
4.heat the oil and fry the dried chillies and curry leaves until the chillies are nerly burnt.
5.add the onions, green chillies, coriander and spice seeds until the onions are soft.
6.add potatos and a tbsp of water and cook for ten mins, mixing well (lightly mashed)
7.add lemon juice to taste
