Ingredients1 cup plain flour
1 cup rice flour
1/2 cup roasted chickpea flour
1 tbsp. sesame seeds
2 tbsp. Cooking Oil
2 green chilies ground
tsp. soda bicarbonate
Salt to taste
Cooking Oil to deep fry
InstructionsSieve the plain and rice flour together with soda bicarbonate. Tie in a tight muslin cloth. Place in a steel vessel and cover with tight lid. Place in a pressure cooker and steam (4 whistles). Remove and sieve again.

Mix all other ingredients together to make a medium soft dough. Use a murukku press and press out circles. Use 4" plantain leaf squares or a small plate to press onto after greasing the plate. Carefully invert a few murukku into hot Cooking Oil and deep fry on medium flame till golden. Drain and cool. Store in a tight lidded container.
