|Ingredients||1lb of chicken chopped into cubes
10-12 cloves of garlic
8 green chillies (pref.indian or pakistani)
Lemon or lime juice
1/2 cup of youghurt
|Instructions||Put the diced chicken in a plastic bag
In a blender put the garlic and chili. Add 2tb oil and 4-6 tb lemon juice.
Make to paste an add the youghurt. Pour the marinade into the bag with the chicken. Leave in the fridge for 24 hours.(at least 8 hours)
Skewer the marinated chicken and sprinkle with red chili powder.
Now roast the skewers in an pre-heated owen (moderately hot) or charcoal grill/tandoori until done.
Serve with Vindaloo (or tindaloo) sauce and rice
Add some freshly chopped coriander on the top an ENJOY with lots of lager.
The skewers can, of course, be enjoyed as a snack without rice etc.
