1 small onion, roughly chopped
4 cloves garlic, roughly chopped
2 inch fresh ginger, chopped
1 1/2 tbsp. white vinegar
1 teasp. ground corriander
1 teasp. ground tumeric
2 teasp. extra hot chili powder
salt - q.s
4 red snapper fillets
3 fresh green chilies, finely chopped
oil for frying
1 tsp. cumin seeds
lemon & lime slices
Chop marinade ingredients. In a food processor, grind the marinade ingredients into a smooth paste.
Coat both side of the fillets with flour. Make slices into the fillets and rub the fish with marinade mix. Set aside for one hour. Re-coat if necessary.
Heat the oil and fry the cumin seeds and fresh sliced chilies for one minute.
Add the fish, frying on each side for just a few minutes.
Serve hot with lemon and lime slices.
