Ingredients6 chicken breasts cubed
4 large onions roughly chopped
1 bulb of garlic peeled
pack of coriander from tescos
bit of fresh ginger peeled and chopped
4 dessertspoons of indian curry powder(from any good indian grocary shop)
1 cup of oil
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp tikka spice
1 tin of tomatoes
any kind of hot chillies
cans of lager
mates
Instructions1. Heat the oil in a large saucepan and add the chopped onions

2. When the onions are nearly turning brown add the garlic and ginger

3. Cook for another couple of minutes and then add he curry powder

4. Fry the curry powder for about another 5 minutes or until oil rises to the top (if it looks to dry add more oil)

5. Add the tin of tomatoes and simmer for 5-10 mins

6. While the mixture is simmering fry the chicken in a bit of oil to seal it (add a little bit of turmeric to the oil so it turns the chicken yellow)

7. Put your mixture in a blender and blend until smooth

8. Put back in saucepan and add chicken

9. Simmer for about half an hour

10. Serve in balti dishes with some chopped fresh coriander on top
NotesREMEMBER NOT TO FRY THE GALIC FOR TOO LONG AS IT BURNS

WORK ON THE QUANTITY BASIS OF ONE LARGE ONION PER SERVING AND ALTER INGREDIENTS ACCORDINGLY

ADD CHOPPED CHILLIES TO TASTE DEPENDING ON BRAVERY!
